A Simple Kalimba That Gets Out of the Way
Kalimba is a lightweight sampled instrument for adding soft, organic plucks to lo-fi, ambient, cinematic and acoustic productions.
Two recorded sources capture different parts of the instrument: the brighter tine sound and the warmer resonance of the body. Blend them to taste, add a little built-in reverb and start playing.
No large browser, complicated sound-design engine or long setup required. Just load the instrument, shape the balance and use it in the track.
